CD 'Hereditary retinal dystrophies'
This bilingual (English/German) CD-ROM, published in 2000, displays the variability or inherited retinal dystrophies using 1771 ophthalmoscopic and angiographic pictures from 467 patients. For each patient, personal and familial history as well as, if obtained, detailed functional results (visual field, color vision, electroretinography, multifocal electroretinography, electrooculography) and molecular genetic findings are included. In addition an introduction on inherited retinal dystrophies is given and a glossary, explanation of the results of functional evaluation as well as a detailed search function are included.
The CD-ROM was supported by the Pro Retina Germany and Dr. Mann Pharma, Berlin and published by Thieme. The CD-ROM is no longer commercially available, but may be obtained by second-hand resources.
